Role Overview: Material Planner L2-Ext

This full-time Material Planner L2-Ext position, based in Riyadh, involves applying supply chain and planning expertise to ensure material availability and optimize inventory management for project success. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams, including procurement, engineering, and finance, to enhance material strategies and manage transitions effectively. Candidates with 0-1 years of experience are encouraged to apply, with an emphasis on passion and attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Work Package Owner (WPO) for Procurement, ensuring Material Milestones are achieved in co-design to meet agreed Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments.
• Analyze inventory consumption to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Define and set parameters for implementing material planning and batch strategies.
• Execute improvement plans focused on inventory reduction and maximizing cash flow.
• Create purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align material planning strategies with project requirements.
• Actively participate in the Engineering Change Committee to ensure proper planning for material changes.
• Define material typology (based on ABC classification, variability, etc.) to establish planning tactics and support project replenishment.
