The company specializes in providing Design Engineering Services, Construction Supervision, and Project Management services, delivering high-quality projects across various government and private sectors.

The Role of Mechanical Inspector

ECEC is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical installations and works on various projects. The role involves daily inspections, quality control, and close collaboration with project teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control on electrical work and progress.
  • Conduct daily inspections in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
  • Inspect heavy structure buildings, including single and multi-storied constructions.
  • Verify all items related to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) work within buildings.
  • Assist in dimensional measurements.
  • Develop, report, and maintain communication with all subcontractors.
  • Verify physical measurements of quantities for indirect labor and contractors’ interim bills.
  • Report any schedule delays to the Engineer.
  • Monitor the project to ensure it remains on schedule.
  • Oversee the delivery of materials.
  • Ensure regular and timely responses to contractor RFIs (Requests for Information) to witness and verify technical inspections and materials testing as required.
  • Attend Quality meetings regularly and contribute to resolving quality issues.
  • Cooperate closely with the Project Management Team (PMT), HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), contractors, and other departments for project implementation.
  • Carry out and certify all necessary inspections during various stages of site activities as per the approved inspection and test plan.
  • Initiate NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and SDR (Site Discrepancy Report) for any implementation violations, non-conformance, or discrepancies.
  • Actively participate in the generation of punch lists.
  • Supervise finishing works.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Diploma in a relevant discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience within a Mechanical Inspector environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a multicultural team.
