About the Opportunity

Kinetic Business Solutions is collaborating with a leading Pharmaceutical company to appoint a Medical Advisor - Oncology. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is intended for professionals with 5-10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Role Overview

The Medical Advisor will function as a scientific and medical expert, primarily focusing on the oncology therapeutic area. This role involves cultivating scientific engagement, providing medical insights, and offering support to both internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve the company's strategic objectives within the Saudi healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive scientific and medical expertise in oncology.
• Facilitate scientific engagement, exchange of scientific information, and provision of medical information.
• Deliver clinical presentations and respond to medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
• Provide medical support for patients and formulary access products, ensuring adherence to global and local policies and procedures.
• Support the development, implementation, and successful completion of medical activities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations.
• Offer scientific and medical support to the Marketing, Sales, and Regulatory departments to contribute to company objectives.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal medical and sales training programs.
• Support clinical research, Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), and observational studies in compliance with established guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences, and assist in the development of summaries for key data, presentations, or symposiums.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Medical degree (MD), PharmD, or an equivalent life-science qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in Oncology Medical Affairs is essential.
• A strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and the Saudi healthcare landscape.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant capacity within the pharmaceutical industry.

Required Skills

• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with external experts and internal stakeholders.
