About the Role

ADFAR Tech is seeking an experienced Mendix Developer / Production Support Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position requires strong hands-on knowledge of the Mendix low-code application development platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for both application development and production support, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous enhancement of Mendix applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
Provide production and application support for Mendix-based applications.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, application errors, performance issues, and user-reported problems.
Develop and modify Mendix microflows, nanoflows, domain models, pages, workflows, and business logic.
Work on application enhancements, change requests, bug fixes, and new feature development.
Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, databases, and other integration mechanisms.
Perform application deployment, configuration, testing, and release support across different environments.
Monitor applications and troubleshoot technical and functional issues.
Coordinate with business users, infrastructure teams, developers, and other stakeholders for issue resolution.
Understand business requirements and translate them into Mendix-based technical solutions.
Maintain technical documentation and follow development and production-support best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

3–5 years of overall software development or application support experience.
Strong hands-on experience and knowledge of Mendix application development, including Mendix Studio Pro, Microflows, Nanoflows, Domain Models, Mendix UI/Pages, Workflows, Security and User Roles.
Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and application deployment and configuration.
Experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Experience in application development, enhancements, and bug fixing.
Knowledge of databases and SQL.
Ability to analyze application logs and identify technical issues.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required for effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Mendix Developer Certification (Rapid, Intermediate, or Advanced).
Experience with Mendix Cloud or private/on-premises deployments.
Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or other web technologies.
Experience working with enterprise applications and large-scale production environments.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
Experience in banking, government, telecom, or other enterprise environments.
