About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Mixologist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in a similar role. The Mixologist is responsible for preparing a variety of beverages for guests according to established recipes and standards, while ensuring the bar area is consistently well-maintained and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and utilizing precise measuring systems.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and optimal condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and all associated tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks as required.
• Ensure adequate stock of ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport necessary supplies to the bar set-up area.
• Wash soiled glassware promptly.
• Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for supplies.
• Process all payment methods accurately.
• Count the bank at the end of each shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure coolers, cabinets, and storage areas at the end of the shift.
• Complete all assigned closing duties.

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to established quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Physical Demands

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to navigate over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a mixologist or similar beverage preparation role.
• Demonstrated ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of service.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the dynamic hospitality setting of Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
