About the Role

Tangent International is seeking an experienced MPLS Engineer for a 12-month contract position. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves contributing to a leading telecommunications project within the region.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will join a technical authority team focused on supporting Ericsson transmission environments. The primary objective of this position is to ensure optimal network performance, maintain operational stability, and facilitate the timely restoration of critical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical support across the transmission domain.
• Troubleshoot MPLS networks, routers, L2/L3 switches, and transmission nodes.
• Support node acceptance and configuration management activities.
• Perform software maintenance and problem management.
• Handle outages, service degradation issues, and customer requests.
• Conduct MDT/TCN verification, reporting, and audit tasks.
• Coordinate with engineering, vendor, and customer teams.
• Support operational compliance and service restoration efforts.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced MPLS Engineer with a solid background in telecommunications. The role requires a strong ability to provide technical support and effectively troubleshoot complex network issues within a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting telecommunication operators.
• Background in 24/5 operational support.
• Knowledge of the Ericsson transmission domain.

Location and Contract Details

This is a full-time contract position for 12 months, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
