About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a Network Security Engineer, specifically a Saudi National, to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves driving cybersecurity best practices and managing a comprehensive portfolio of security and operational services within a multi-site organization. The role requires end-to-end ownership of security domains, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), firewalls, cloud security, and policy management, alongside managing audit workflows and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive cybersecurity industry best practices across the organization.
  • Lead a complex portfolio of security and operational services in a multi-site environment.
  • Maintain end-to-end ownership of security domains including Identity and Access Management (IAM), firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco), cloud security, and firewall/NAT policies.
  • Manage Tenable and cloud audit workflows, ensuring adherence to security standards.
  • Oversee patching, compliance initiatives, SOC2/NCA audits, and log correlation processes.
  • Plan complex tasks, organize professional teams, and communicate technical subjects effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Handle escalated security-related cases and provide expert guidance during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Interpret use cases and configure threat monitoring rules in relevant security tools.
  • Perform detailed analysis during security incidents to support and enhance response procedures.
  • Mentor and guide a team of security analysts and incident responders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Security Operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical lead role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong operational knowledge and architectural understanding of various platforms and operating systems in a multi-domain environment.
  • Experience with processes used in security incident detection and handling.
  • Experience in delivering enhancements to security controls.
  • Holds CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH, or similar security-related qualifications.
