About Alstom and the O&M Quality Engineer Role

Alstom is a global leader in sustainable mobility, providing transport networks from high-speed trains, metros, and monorails to comprehensive turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling, and digital mobility solutions. We are seeking a full-time, onsite Saudi National O&M Quality Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to product excellence and customer satisfaction within the railway industry.

Role Purpose and Context

The O&M Quality Engineer will apply meticulous and detail-oriented expertise within a cutting-edge field. This position involves working alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates to enhance product excellence and customer satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with various business teams, including Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, to ensure compliance with quality and railway safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and ensure the requirements of the Project Quality Plan remain adequate and relevant throughout the phases of the project.
Manage all product quality issues through the PST (8Ds and supplier NCRs).
Support and assist in the management of the Railway Safety aspects of the project.
Work with the Project Quality & Safety Manager to ensure that the requirements of the Alstom Management Systems and Quality and Continuous Improvement activities are met.
Ensure all Quality and Railway Safety documentation, processes, and procedures are current, controlled, and communicated.
Manage Quality processes, including incoming inspections, calibration, and NCRs, through GSI/MAXIMO.
Plan and perform technical assessment audits for the maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule from all subsystems.

Qualifications and Experience

Must be a Saudi National.
0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant quality or engineering field.
Demonstrated meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work.
Ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative and innovative team environment.
