The Role of Operations Manager

SA Investment Group is seeking an Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing daily operations across Food & Beverage and Valet Parking projects, ensuring efficient service delivery, adherence to established standards, and effective resource allocation. The Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing staff schedules and monitoring performance across operational teams.
• Optimizing workflows and implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Addressing operational issues in real-time and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to budgeting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction within all operations.
• Demonstrating P&L ownership and a track record of improving margins.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 3 years managing multiple units.
• Proven experience in the Food & Beverage and/or service sectors, ideally including valet or hospitality operations.
• Prior experience in an operations or management role, preferably within a growing or multi-site organization.
• Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and basic financial principles related to operations.
• Familiarity with operational policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to build and develop teams.
• Proficiency in performance monitoring, data analysis, and reporting to drive operational improvements.
• Data-driven approach, comfortable with POS reporting, labor scheduling tools, and cost analysis.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.
• Comfort with using office software and operational tools (*, spreadsheets, scheduling systems, dashboards).
