About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Planning Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves coordinating and supporting operational projects, assisting in planning and evaluation processes, and ensuring project effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Role Overview

The Planning Officer plays a crucial part in project execution by assisting in expense analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities. The role ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget through diligent oversight of project planning, inventory management, cost control, and overall project management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing planning data for Project Progress submittals and ensure submission of weekly/monthly reports in coordination with the Project Manager and Site Quantity Surveyor.
  • Prepare planning reports, including manpower requirements and material procurement reports, in accordance with the approved program.
  • Maintain files and carry out data input as required by Planning Engineers.
  • Assist in developing and utilizing innovative tools and techniques for the planning process.
  • Ensure all planning processes adhere to established procedures and regulations.
  • Monitor day-to-day work progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports, swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages.
  • Continually compare planned progress with actual progress and report any differences to the Planning Engineer.
  • Ensure accuracy of tracking and updating information for weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports to monitor and report variances from planned productivities and targets, ensuring compliance with the contract schedule.
  • Provide feedback to the Planning Manager/Planning Engineer on subcontractor’s schedule status.
  • Prepare schedules, updates, progress monitoring, and reporting.
  • Input progress updates and other information into Excel spreadsheets or related software.
  • Work closely with others involved in a project and provide current status updates to vendors, managers, and other concerned personnel.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within UCC Holding. The role requires collaboration with various project teams and stakeholders.
