Role Overview

Camco - Capital Metro Company is seeking a Platform Screen Doors (PSD) Supervisor to join our team in Al Nada District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports the PSD Manager in ensuring workloads are prioritized based on operational and safety demands, aligning with business needs. The Supervisor is instrumental in maintaining asset safety, reliability, and compliance within the metro system.

Key Responsibilities

The PSD Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational integrity of Platform Screen Doors, ensuring all activities adhere to stringent quality and safety standards. This role requires proactive problem-solving, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to safety and quality requirements throughout the asset lifecycle.

Maintenance and Operational Oversight

• Provide oversight for asset maintenance, maintenance planning, asset strategy, predictive, and condition-based maintenance for discipline-specific systems (PSD).
• Execute and/or supervise complex maintenance and repair activities of relevant equipment according to work plans and maintenance manuals, whether by internal teams or sub-contractors.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently upheld during all maintenance operations.
• Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting complicated issues and verify adherence to good practices by reviewing CMMS logs and attachments.
• Review change management processes thoroughly to avoid any operational impact.

Team Leadership and Support

• Support the hiring, training, and assessment of team staff, managing ongoing personnel training and development efforts.
• Ensure the safety of teams by following all safety processes and promoting the correct use of tooling.
• Create and distribute safety/quality briefs and toolbox talks to supervisors.
• Assist the PSD Manager and wider superiors in the technical directorate with Root Cause Analysis and Incident Reporting for faults, failures, and incidents.
• Support the PSD Manager and the wider technical team in the creation, review, modification, and approval of maintenance documentation, design drawings, and related documents.
• Deputize for the PSD Manager or Head of Transit Systems as required, supporting them in any reasonable requested tasks.

Procurement and Strategic Initiatives

The Supervisor will support procurement teams by providing technical analysis and justification for Requests for Quotation (RFQs), developing Bills of Materials, and contributing to tender input and clarifications. This includes exploring alternative equipment manufacturers to support localization targets within Saudi Arabia, with a focus on improving quality and reducing costs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance supervision, preferably within a metro or similar rail environment. The role requires strong initiative to develop solutions, guided by experienced peers and superiors, alongside a commitment to metro standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
