PMO Engineer

About the Role

Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate is seeking a PMO Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting project delivery by managing and consolidating critical project data, including progress, schedule, cost, risk, and documentation. The PMO Engineer is responsible for generating accurate and timely reports for both management and clients, while also ensuring adherence to PMO standards and procedures across technical and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and verify progress data from construction, technical, procurement, and Quantity Surveying (QS) teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries, including clear KPIs such as planned vs. actual progress, S-curves, and milestones.
• Track schedule performance against the baseline, identify delays, analyze root causes, and follow up on recovery actions with the Planning team.
• Monitor cost and budget status in coordination with QS and Cost Control, covering commitments, forecasts, and variations.
• Maintain and update project risk and issue registers, and track mitigation actions through to closure.
• Control change management processes, including tracking change requests, variation orders, and their impact on project time and cost.
• Manage action trackers, meeting minutes, and follow up on decisions from project and management meetings.
• Coordinate interfaces between contractors, consultants, and internal departments, and track open interface issues.
• Ensure compliance with PMO procedures, templates, and reporting standards across all project teams.
• Support the PMO Manager in audits, lessons-learned reviews, and handover documentation.
• Prepare data and presentations for client, steering committee, and head office reviews.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The position requires a strong understanding of project management office functions and the ability to manage complex project data effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate team. The role involves close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including construction, technical, procurement, and QS teams, as well as clients, contractors, and consultants.
