About the Role

ASAS for Developing & Operating Industrial Cities is seeking a PMO Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the planning, tracking, and coordination of ASAS activities, ensuring alignment with Shared Services PMO standards, frameworks, and direction. The PMO Specialist acts as a central control, coordination, and reporting function at the business level, facilitating disciplined execution, visibility, and governance without direct ownership of operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track the implementation of ASAS programs, initiatives, activities, and milestones.
  • Maintain detailed schedules, plans, and progress updates in line with Shared Services PMO frameworks.
  • Ensure clear visibility of deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and timelines.
  • Support business units in monitoring progress against approved plans and objectives.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking for ASAS activities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to project and initiative delivery.
  • Highlight variances, delays, risks, and performance gaps.
  • Consolidate updates from different departments and provide structured reports to Shared Services PMO and management.
  • Ensure adherence to Shared Services PMO standards, templates, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Track management decisions, action items, and follow-ups from committees and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate project and initiative documentation.
  • Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with applicable governance requirements.
  • Act as a coordination point between ASAS departments/business units and Shared Services PMO.
  • Support alignment of operational and strategic activities with approved plans and priorities.
  • Facilitate structured information flow, reporting, and progress updates.
  • Coordinate with relevant Shared Services functions, including Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and other supporting functions as required.
  • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and bottlenecks affecting the execution of ASAS initiatives.
  • Escalate concerns with clear data, analysis, and supporting information.
  • Support the tracking of mitigation actions and resolution status.
  • Maintain visibility of outstanding issues and ensure timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience for this role. Specific qualifications related to PMO functions and project coordination are essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within ASAS for Developing & Operating Industrial Cities. The role requires close coordination with various departments and adherence to established PMO standards.
