The Role of Procurement Officer Manufacturing

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking a Procurement Officer Manufacturing to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the efficient and compliant procurement of goods and services necessary for uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The officer will be responsible for achieving value for money while maintaining adherence to established procurement policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely procurement of quality goods and services to support continuous operations.
• Achieve optimal value through effective sourcing strategies and negotiation practices.
• Maintain strict compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Support transparency and accountability across all purchasing activities.
• Contribute to cost control initiatives and the efficient utilization of organizational resources.
• Build and sustain reliable relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Provide accurate and current procurement records for management review and audit purposes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of procurement processes, negotiation techniques, and supplier relationship management is required.
