The Role of Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role involves coordinating with various internal departments and external partners to support the company's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and follow up with local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, discounts, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels to minimize out-of-stock and overstock situations.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and beauty brands.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Inventory, Finance, Retail, and Commercial teams.
• Ensure product authenticity, shelf life, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and purchasing costs.
• Support promotions, new launches, and seasonal purchasing initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, or retail sectors.

Required Skills

• Effective supplier-management skills.
