The Role of MEP Project Manager

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a Project Manager - MEP to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the timely completion of projects within approved budgets for cost and resources, while maintaining quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will lead MEP aspects of projects, managing teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development of KSA national employees to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination.
• Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
• Conduct team affairs with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and company values across all employees, reinforcing a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
• Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the function.
• Represent the organization and enhance relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and communicate with company field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors regarding the MEP project schedule.
• Administer financial aspects of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Review general contracts and documents, confirm budget setup, and project milestones with the Project Lead.
• Create a schedule of values and project logs, plan for project safety and mobilization.
• Maintain cost control, buy schedules, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, and confirm compliance with project insurance requirements.
• Manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs, and correspondence.
• Attend and chair necessary schedule and management MEP meetings.
• Manage all requisitions and payments, including lien releases and project payroll, while maintaining cash flow.
• Deliver all necessary manuals and consolidate project documentation and files.
• Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list processes.
• Liaise with the HSE and/or Quality department to ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety & Environment and quality policies.
• Respond to emergencies and take remedial action to protect health, safety, and the environment.
• Identify and ensure assigned manpower skills align with project requirements.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within MEP.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from planning to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction industry standards, quality, and safety regulations.
• Experience in financial administration of contracts and subcontracts.
