About Omrania and the Role

Omrania is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Saudi National) to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on supporting the company's growth plans, particularly with a pre-contract bias. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of design projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets. This position acts as a crucial link between creative teams and stakeholders, managing resources, schedules, and deliverables within an established team.

Core Responsibilities

The Project Manager will provide a comprehensive and value-driven service for large, high-profile clients, covering all aspects of project management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining project timelines and activities in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Resolving changes in scope, issues, and risks that impact project implementation.
• Assigning talent and resources to projects effectively.
• Guiding and coaching staff to ensure project success.
• Implementing quality assurance practices to ensure maximum functionality of deliverables.

Detailed Project Duties

Specific duties for this role encompass a broad range of project management functions:

• Defining and clarifying project scope, setting timelines, and establishing budgets.
• Facilitating meetings and presentations with clients and team members.
• Monitoring project progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Managing and motivating design teams, assigning tasks, and providing guidance.
• Keeping stakeholders informed on project progress, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
• Coordinating project schedules, resources, and budgets for design initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Overseeing the quality of design deliverables and ensuring they meet established standards.
• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Tracking project expenses and ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
• Implementing strategies to manage and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing detailed cost forecasts and budget reports, analyzing variances and identifying trends.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration between design teams, marketing, product development, and external agencies.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, using project management software.
• Managing scope changes and potential risks throughout the design project lifecycle.
• Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements.

Candidate Profile and Skills

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent collaborative, time management, and multi-tasking skills. Experience in undertaking cost and commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organization, collaborative teams is preferred for this role. The Project Manager will be instrumental in ensuring projects remain on track and within budget through effective cost control measures and proactive issue resolution.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of local regulations, codes, and approval processes.
• Project Management Institute (PMP) certification is desirable.
