About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project MEP Head to lead the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) strategy and execution across its projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing critical infrastructure systems from design validation through to project completion. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of MEP services within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the MEP strategy for the Strategic Business Group (SBG), ensuring alignment with business priorities, sustainability targets, and operational efficiency goals.
• Oversee the planning, design validation, technical approvals, and execution of MEP services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems across all assigned projects.
• Ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with structural, architectural, and finishing works through proactive design coordination and robust cross-functional collaboration.
• Standardize technical specifications, drawings, and quality benchmarks across projects to maintain consistency, enhance safety, and optimize performance.
• Drive initiatives in value engineering, energy efficiency, and the adoption of smart systems in MEP design and installation, aiming to reduce lifecycle costs and improve environmental performance.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Project MEP Head position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing and leading MEP projects. This experience should demonstrate a strong capability in strategic development, technical oversight, and project execution within the construction or infrastructure sector. A proven track record in coordinating complex MEP systems and driving efficiency improvements is essential.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active on-site presence to effectively manage project execution, oversee technical aspects, and facilitate team coordination. The Project MEP Head will work within a dynamic project environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
