About the Role

DallahHealth is seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to supporting patient mental well-being through comprehensive psychological services. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.

Role Overview

The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological testing and assessments, providing therapy, and offering crisis intervention. A key aspect of this position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment plans. Additionally, the role includes active participation in patient and family education, potential involvement in research, and meticulous maintenance of patient records, all while adhering to established standards of care and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological testing and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD.
• Interpret assessment results and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual or group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, psychoanalysis, and family therapy.
• Offer crisis intervention services as needed.
• Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic treatment plans.
• Assist patients in managing emotional and mental challenges through coping strategies and positive behavior change.
• Support patients and families in understanding mental health issues and promoting overall mental well-being.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in psychological theories, techniques, and research, potentially participating in research studies.
• Educate patients, families, and organizations on mental health topics, including conducting workshops or seminars on stress management and psychological support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with regulations.
• Implement policies and procedures to achieve hospital goals and objectives, ensuring adherence to Standards of Care and Quality/Performance Improvement.
• Participate in patient and family education to facilitate informed care decisions.
• Perform any other duties within professional knowledge and skills as directed by the Psychiatrist or Head of Department.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in psychology or a related mental health field.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct psychological assessments and provide effective therapy.
• Experience working within a healthcare industry setting is preferred.
