About the Purchasing Manager Role

Khayrat Co. شركة خيرات is seeking an experienced and results-driven Purchasing Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading and optimizing procurement activities across our diverse portfolio of restaurant brands. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in F&B procurement and a proven ability to deliver measurable commercial results.

Role Purpose and Strategic Impact

The Purchasing Manager will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic sourcing plans to ensure optimal quality, availability, and cost efficiency for all restaurant operations. This position requires a professional with expertise in supplier management, strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and inventory planning to drive significant commercial outcomes for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all purchasing and procurement activities across the company’s restaurant brands and operations.
• Develop and implement effective strategic sourcing and procurement plans to ensure the right quality, availability, and total cost.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers while maintaining strong long-term supplier relationships.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage supplier contracts to secure the best value and competitive terms.
• Monitor market conditions, commodity prices, and supplier pricing trends to identify cost-saving and sourcing opportunities.
• Work closely with Operations, Culinary, Finance, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to forecast demand and ensure timely purchasing.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing cycles to minimise waste, overstocking, shortages, and product losses.
• Establish and monitor procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, purchasing efficiency, price variance, and service levels.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with the company’s policies, approval matrix, quality standards, and applicable food safety requirements.
• Prepare and present regular procurement reports to management, highlighting spending, savings, supplier performance, market movements, and key risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant procurement role.
• Strong experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) procurement.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier management and strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record in cost optimisation and inventory planning.
• Ability to deliver measurable commercial results.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated professional to be present at the company's operations.
