Purchasing Supervisor

About the Role

Hilton is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for supporting the procurement and inventory management processes within the hotel, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Support purchasing and receiving operations, including procurement, overseeing receiving processes, and managing inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Collaborate with internal teams, specifically outlet managers, to ensure purchases meet operational needs and specifications.
• Process invoices, review them for accuracy, and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment and issue resolution.
• Assist with supplier management, including securing competitive pricing, placing orders, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
• Perform quality checks by inspecting shipments to verify they meet order specifications, grade, and quality standards.
• Supervise and develop the purchasing and receiving team, providing training, scheduling, guidance, and support to ensure high performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant purchasing or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage procurement, receiving, and inventory processes effectively.
• Experience in collaborating with various internal departments and managing supplier relationships.
