About Motaded and the Role

Motaded is developing a SaaS platform designed to assist companies in establishing and managing their businesses within Saudi Arabia, including workflows connected to government services. We are seeking a QA & Technical Integration Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role combines hands-on manual testing with technical communication and coordination with government entities regarding system integrations. The expected workload is approximately 70% product testing and 30% integration coordination, depending on ongoing activities.

Key Responsibilities: Product Testing

  • Test platform features, including forms, applications, documents, statuses, permissions, and government-service integrations.
  • Validate complete user journeys, covering successful flows, errors, and edge cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing.
  • Create and maintain test cases and checklists.
  • Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting screenshots or recordings.
  • Verify fixes and communicate findings to developers.
  • Check Arabic content and right-to-left (RTL) interface behavior.

Key Responsibilities: Integration Coordination

  • Prepare integration questions and requests in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Communicate with government entities in Arabic and English, including attending in-person meetings.
  • Explain Motaded's platform and outline the data and operations required for an integration.
  • Identify appropriate technical contacts and clarify API availability, access requirements, approvals, documentation, and testing environments.
  • Document meeting outcomes, track open requests, and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Accurately relay technical information between external stakeholders and the development team.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess at least 1 year of relevant practical experience in manual QA, API testing, or integration testing. The target level for this role is Middle, requiring candidates to take ownership of testing features, investigate failures, document findings, and communicate effectively without constant supervision. Seniority will be assessed based on demonstrated skills and a practical assessment, rather than solely on years of experience. Production coding and building automated test frameworks are not mandatory for this position.

Application Process

The application process includes the following steps:

  1. Review of practical experience in web application testing and API testing.
  2. Assessment of Arabic and English communication skills.
  3. Technical interview with our development team.
  4. A short practical assessment, which includes:

    • Testing a web application scenario and writing a bug report.
    • Executing an API request in Postman and explaining the response or error.
    • Drafting a short Arabic integration inquiry and preparing technical questions for a meeting with a government entity.
