About the Role

alfanar is seeking a QC Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the quality of raw materials through diligent inspections, comprehensive documentation, and effective collaboration with suppliers. The role supports the maintenance of high-quality standards and drives continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of raw materials to ensure strict compliance with defined quality standards.
• Report inspection findings accurately and escalate noncompliance issues promptly.
• Perform detailed analysis and testing of raw materials to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Initiate Nonconforming Material Reports (NCRs) for noncompliant materials and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records, ensuring all documentation aligns with regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to address quality concerns and enhance material standards.
• Support internal teams by providing insights into material quality and suggesting alternatives when necessary.
• Assist in training inspection staff on quality protocols and the proper usage of equipment.
• Stay informed on industry standards and technologies to recommend continuous improvements.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used for quality inspections, including routine calibration and reporting of issues.

• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules, utilizing resources efficiently.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution status of planned tasks.

• Ensure adherence to quality requirements for developing effective quality control processes and product specifications.
• Contribute to business process improvements by coordinating written systems, policies, and procedures, and identifying automation opportunities.
• Comply strictly with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control or Quality Engineering role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform raw material inspections and detailed analysis.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Experience with lab equipment operation, maintenance, and calibration.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The QC Engineer will work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold and enhance quality standards.
