We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Riyadh on a full-time basis.

Role Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical works related to the 132 kV UGC project adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations. This role covers all project phases, including planning, inspection, testing, and handover, requiring a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance principles and their practical application.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
• Define quality metrics and objectives for both manufacturing and construction activities.
• Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct inspections and supervise the testing of materials, equipment, electrical systems, and workmanship to verify compliance with specifications.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to project requirements, quality plans, and relevant codes and regulations.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain consistency and reliability of materials and workmanship.
• Review and approve project documents, drawings, specifications, materials, and construction methods for quality compliance.
• Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits, and support regulatory and client audits.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders on all quality-related matters.
• Ensure that all testing and measuring equipment is calibrated and maintained according to applicable standards.
• Certify and validate completed work prior to project handover.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance to project and site personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering roles.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards.
• Proven analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
