About the Role

Atmaal is seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining robust reconciliation processes across various payment channels. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation activities, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. This role supports critical settlement activities and contributes to the continuous improvement of financial record accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation for payment transactions across POS, cards, digital payments, and other channels.
• Review and identify discrepancies between internal records, bank statements, and third-party reports, and assist in their resolution.
• Monitor reconciliation exceptions and escalate unresolved issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation records, supporting documents, and transaction logs.
• Support settlement activities related to Sadad, SARIE, and other payment systems under supervision.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation and settlement reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, operational controls, and regulatory requirements during reconciliation activities.
• Support audit and compliance requests by providing necessary reconciliation data and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to follow up on reconciliation and settlement issues.
• Contribute to improving reconciliation processes and maintaining accuracy in financial transaction records.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a reconciliation or similar financial role.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Experience with various payment channels and systems is preferred.
