About the Role

Bateel International is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the Café management team in the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of food and beverage quality. The Restaurant Supervisor will act as a brand ambassador, committed to providing exceptional service and a personalized guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Consistently create a warm, thoughtful, and sincere guest experience through a personalized approach and attention to detail.
Understand and anticipate customer needs, making every guest feel unique and valued.
Provide solutions to guest queries or complaints, escalating issues to the duty manager when appropriate.
Uphold Café performance standards, policies, procedures, and service standards for efficient operation.
Oversee guest orders and assist with cashiering and invoicing.
Perform routine checklists, set up, and organize the floor before and after each shift.
Oversee cleaning according to schedules and duty manager instructions.
Adhere to all service standards and procedures (Manuals/SOP, HACCP).
Assist management in maximizing profitability and controlling costs to achieve targets.
Stay informed about all Company products, services, and activities to promote offerings and respond to guest inquiries.
Undertake accurate monthly inventories of all Café stock.
Ensure efficient purchasing, issuing of supplies, stock control, and inventory control, and prepare departmental reports when necessary.
Supervise team member performance, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Conduct team briefings in the absence of Café management to ensure colleagues are informed.
Ensure proper staffing and arrange cover where necessary.
Play an integral part in the training of new team members.
Uphold Bateel brand standards, including quality, grooming guidelines, and maintaining the presentation and effectiveness of the Café.
Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of all guests, colleagues, and self.
Comply with and enforce all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety guidelines, including food expiration, fire, and first aid regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Strong understanding of food and beverage quality standards.
Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles.
Experience in team supervision and training.
