The Role of Retail Sales Trainer

Damas Jewellery is seeking a Retail Sales Trainer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for sales staff. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales training, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement within the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales staff, covering jewellery product knowledge, sales techniques, customer engagement, and brand values.
• Conduct training sessions in both classroom and online formats to ensure sales team members are equipped with necessary skills.
• Deliver in-store training and in-class coaching sessions to existing staff across the Kingdom.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify training needs, knowledge gaps, and areas for improvement within the sales team.
• Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and product offerings to provide accurate and relevant training content.
• Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and interactive exercises.
• Implement assessment tools and evaluations to measure training program effectiveness and identify areas for further improvement.
• Provide individual coaching and feedback to sales associates to enhance their sales techniques, customer interactions, and product knowledge.
• Organize and lead role-playing exercises, simulations, and on-the-job training sessions to reinforce learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with product managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to align training content with product strategies.
• Continuously evaluate and refine training methodologies to adapt to changing market trends and sales strategies.
• Monitor sales team performance post-training, identify areas of ongoing development, and provide targeted support.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new sales team members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance metrics.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a sales training role.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer engagement, and product knowledge.
• Experience in the retail sector, preferably within luxury goods or jewellery.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves conducting training sessions both in-store and in a classroom setting, requiring travel across the Kingdom for existing staff coaching.
