About the Opportunity

Carrefour Saudi Arabia (Majid Al Futtaim) is seeking a Sales & Distribution Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to the success of theatrical film releases across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, involving strategic planning, performance analysis, and stakeholder management.

Role Overview

The Sales & Distribution Manager is responsible for driving the success of theatrical film releases by overseeing forecasting, film booking, release planning, and performance analysis. The position requires close collaboration with studios, exhibitors, and internal teams to maximize box office performance, ensure accurate reporting, and manage local censorship requirements and key stakeholder relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Support film booking, release planning, and distribution strategies to maximize box office performance across markets.
• Analyze release performance and provide data-driven recommendations on screen allocation, formats, timing, and revenue targets.
• Build partnerships with Studios by sharing market insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Manage performance reporting, forecasting, and post-release reviews, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement of reporting models.
• Govern studio systems, databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to maintain data integrity and consistency.
• Monitor cinema programs, screen allocations, and exhibitor performance, while supporting localization, censorship, and film placement activities.
• Oversee operational readiness and execution of film releases, coordinating with Marketing, Sales, Technical, and Logistics teams.
• Act as a key liaison between Head Office, local markets, exhibitors, and studio partners to ensure alignment, efficient distribution, and successful release execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the film industry, media, sales, or marketing, preferably at a managerial level.
• Strong knowledge of film distribution, exhibition operations, box office performance, and market dynamics.
• Experience working with studio reporting systems, distribution tools, third-party agencies, and government entities is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build regional partnerships.
• Advanced analytical and presentation skills, including strong Excel proficiency and the ability to translate data into business insights.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded professional.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexible hours during major releases.
