About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for proactively identifying and managing sales opportunities, ensuring proper and timely turnover for service delivery. The role focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Building Customer Relationships

This position involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers to secure future bookings. It also requires collaboration with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.

Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
Develop community relationships to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

The Sales Manager will actively participate in sales activities, including acquiring new business and closing deals. This involves managing the operational aspects of booked business, from proposal generation to contract writing and customer correspondence.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

A key aspect of this role is leveraging market trends and customer insights to maximize revenue. The Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities, understand the competitive landscape, and align sales strategies with market conditions and location needs.

The Sales Manager is expected to uphold and promote the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty through consistent service excellence. This includes setting a positive example for guest relations and actively seeking customer feedback.
