About the SAP TM Consultant Role

*********** is seeking a highly skilled SAP TM Consultant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on the design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of SAP Transportation Management solutions for client functional groups. The consultant will be central to ensuring that SAP TM implementations effectively meet and exceed client business requirements.

Role Focus and Client Engagement

The primary focus of this role is to translate client business needs into robust SAP Transportation Management solutions. This involves direct engagement with client teams to capture and analyze business requirements, subsequently architecting solutions that encompass both standard configuration and custom development where necessary. The consultant plays a pivotal part in delivering functional and efficient SAP TM systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with client teams to capture and analyze business requirements.
• Architect SAP Transportation Management solutions, encompassing configuration adjustments and custom development efforts to address specific business needs.
• Configure SAP TM modules and collaborate with SAP developers to create tailored reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting of SAP TM to confirm its alignment with documented business processes and requirements.
• Participate in comprehensive testing phases and go-live operations to ensure a smooth transition and effective solution deployment.
• Offer ongoing support for SAP TM solutions post-implementation, ensuring operational stability and efficiency.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management. This experience should cover the full lifecycle of SAP TM implementations, from initial design and configuration through to deployment and ongoing support within client environments.

Technical and Functional Expertise

• Proficiency in designing, configuring, and deploying SAP TM modules.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP TM solutions.
• Experience with SAP TM testing, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support activities.
• Understanding of integration points with custom developments, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Strong collaboration skills for working effectively with client teams and SAP developers.
