About the Opportunity

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Schedule Control & Reporting Expert to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is crucial for supporting the efficient operation of project management during the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive schedule control, schedule performance analysis, progress monitoring, deviation reporting, forecasting, and management reporting across the contract and its external interfaces. The expert will monitor O&M Contractor performance against contractual milestones, develop and implement scheduling dashboards, and optimize reporting processes using digital and AI-enabled solutions. This position serves as a key interface between the project management team, O&M Contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders, ensuring accurate reporting of schedule performance, integrity, milestone achievement, risks, deviations, and required recovery actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain project baseline schedules and periodic updates.
• Review O&M Contractor detailed schedules for compliance with contract requirements and objectives.
• Monitor O&M Contractor progress against approved baselines, key milestones, and contractual deliverables.
• Conduct critical path analysis, identify schedule constraints, delays, and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate schedule impacts from variations, design changes, and project risks.
• Support the preparation of recovery schedules and mitigation plans for schedule deviations.
• Monitor project handover, close-out, and commissioning schedules.
• Validate reported progress and assess schedule performance against contractual requirements.
• Prepare monthly, executive-level reports and presentations on schedule performance and deviations.
• Develop and implement scheduling dashboards, KPIs, and management summaries.
• Optimize and automate reporting workflows, including AI-enabled tools for data consolidation and analysis.
• Review and analyze schedule deviations, delays, and milestone slippages reported by O&M Contractors.
• Coordinate with project controls and reporting teams to ensure consistency of schedule data.
• Coordinate with project managers, O&M Contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Provide expert advice on schedule-related matters and project performance trends.
