About TawanTech and the Role

TawanTech is seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Agile and Scrum practices, focusing on guiding development teams and ensuring efficient product delivery.

Role Overview

The Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile processes and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles within our development teams. This position involves removing obstacles, coaching team members, and fostering an environment that supports the consistent delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the Product Owner in effectively managing and refining the product backlog.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile frameworks and best practices.
• Identify, track, and actively remove impediments that hinder the development team’s progress.
• Shield the team from external distractions and unauthorized scope changes.
• Cultivate a collaborative, positive, and productive team culture.
• Track and report on essential Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment.
• Strong foundational understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools (*, Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent Agile certification.
• Prior experience in software development or quality assurance (QA).
• Familiarity with scaling Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within a collaborative team setting focused on delivering high-quality software products through Agile methodologies.
