About Evara Engineering and the Role

Evara Engineering, a division of the EVARA Group, is a full-service engineering organization recognized for its highly skilled, multidisciplinary teams. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position critical to maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our operations.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with local regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practical experience with Saudi government financial platforms to support the company's financial operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute financial reporting processes in accordance with established accounting principles.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including Zakat, VAT, and other tax-related requirements.
Handle submissions and interactions with Saudi government platforms such as ZATCA.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide clear financial information and support operational needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related accounting qualification.
Minimum of 8 to 14 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Demonstrated experience with Saudi government platforms, including ZATCA, VAT, Zakat, and other tax-related portals.
