The finance team is expanding to support the brand’s continued success and ensure robust financial performance and transparency in Riyadh, Riyadh Province.

The Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our full-time team in Riyadh. This role involves overseeing financial operations and supporting the growing needs of our e-commerce business. The position is suitable for a professional with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience who possesses a strong understanding of financial workflows specific to digital retail operations and online accounting systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze order profitability and product-level margins using data from online platforms.
• Review supplier invoices and e-invoices issued through the online store.
• Track and validate cost of goods sold (COGS) using inventory data from platforms like Zid and Salla.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to produce financial performance reports and business insights.
• Reconcile payment gateway reports (*, Tabby, Tamara, credit cards, bank transfers) with internal accounting records.
• Ensure alignment between warehouse stock movement and financial reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a company operating an e-commerce store or digital retail business.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Daftra, Odoo, or QuickBooks, with proven ability to reconcile online orders, returns, and shipping transactions.
• Strong understanding of order fulfillment cycles, various payment gateways (*, Tabby, Tamara, Mada), and Cash on Delivery (COD) accounting treatment.
• Solid grasp of inventory accounting, COGS tracking, and revenue recognition principles within a digital commerce context.
• Working knowledge of Saudi e-invoicing (فاتورة) regulations, ZATCA VAT compliance, and experience with POS systems.
• Comfortable using task management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Notion for documenting workflows and reporting.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to extract actionable financial insights from e-commerce dashboards and ERP integrations.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Prior exposure to online platforms such as Zid, Salla, Shopify, or WooCommerce is highly preferred.
• Experience within industries such as perfumes, cosmetics, furniture, or carpets is considered a plus.
