About Rayne and the Opportunity

Rayne is expanding its consultant team and is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer for a contract assignment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for legal professionals with 5-10 years of experience who are prepared to integrate directly into client organizations.

The Consultant Model

As a consultant at Rayne, you will function as a genuine extension of clients' in-house legal teams. You will be embedded directly within their operations, providing critical legal support while being backed by Rayne throughout each engagement. This model offers flexible resourcing solutions to leading multinationals, start-ups, and government entities across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, including MSAs, framework agreements, services, SaaS, licensing, distribution, and supply contracts.
Advising on corporate and governance matters, restructurings, and providing day-to-day in-house legal support.
Supporting transactions, projects, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with business teams.
Managing legal risk, identifying potential issues, and offering pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
Operating effectively and confidently within fast-paced, in-house legal environments.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant commercial legal experience and demonstrate the following attributes:
