About the Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Construction Manager (Infra & Landscape) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves contributing to a significant mixed-use development program in the region, which includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and all associated infrastructure.

Role Focus and Project Context

This is a delivery-focused role responsible for managing contractor performance, construction activities, program milestones, quality standards, and safety objectives across a complex portfolio of works. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project management, commercial, project controls, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery in line with program, budget, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the construction delivery of infrastructure and landscape packages from mobilization through to completion and handover.
• Manage and oversee main contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision teams.
• Monitor site progress against program milestones and implement mitigation measures where required.
• Drive construction productivity and ensure delivery objectives are achieved.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate construction activities across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
• Oversee the delivery of roads, utilities, drainage, external works, public realm, and landscape elements.
• Review contractor methodologies, recovery plans, and short-term programs.
• Manage site risks, constraints, and interface issues to minimize disruption to delivery.
• Support project controls and commercial teams with progress reporting, change management, and contractual matters.
• Chair construction progress meetings and coordinate site-based workshops.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements at all times.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, defect resolution, and handover activities.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, key issues, and mitigation actions.
• Support operational readiness and transition activities prior to handover.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position are required to have over 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on infrastructure and landscape projects. A proven track record in managing complex construction portfolios, contractor performance, and ensuring project delivery against stringent requirements is essential.
