Senior Consultant

About the Role

Elm Company is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead frontend development initiatives for its Government Digital Products portfolio. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality user interfaces and digital experiences. The role is critical for supporting growing demand across multiple products, ensuring sustainable frontend delivery, and enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and responsive frontend applications, establishing development standards and best practices.
• Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, designing reusable UI components aligned with enterprise design standards.
• Drive frontend delivery activities for new product features and enhancements, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support quality assurance practices, conduct code reviews, validate testing, and resolve defects to ensure solutions meet usability, accessibility, security, and performance requirements.
• Monitor and optimize frontend application performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and usability.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver integrated digital solutions, supporting API integrations and resolving complex implementation challenges.
• Define and maintain frontend development standards, design guidelines, and technical documentation, promoting modern frameworks and tools.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in frontend development processes, tools, and delivery approaches, evaluating new technologies.

Compliance and Standards

• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with information security practices and standards to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in frontend development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead frontend development initiatives and manage a portfolio of digital products.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, development standards, and best practices.
• Experience in designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and responsive applications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves collaboration with various technical and product teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.
