About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Senior CX Commerce Functional Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on configuring and optimizing SAP ERP modules to support business processes.

SAP Module Expertise and Business Process Improvement

This role involves providing subject matter expertise on SAP best practices for implementing business processes within assigned SAP ERP modules. The consultant will lead workshops to gather business requirements, promote the adoption of standard SAP processes, and identify and manage functional gaps while minimizing development effort. A key aspect of this position is fostering innovation and building positive professional relationships.

Contributions to IT department-level improvements are expected, including initiatives that support the governance and standardization of processes and procedures.

SAP Module Configuration and Testing

Responsibilities include designing, configuring, testing, and implementing assigned SAP module business processes, ensuring adherence to SAP standards and minimizing customization. The role requires defining and executing unit, integration, and regression test scripts to validate end-to-end business scenarios. Troubleshooting complex functional issues and bugs identified during implementation, testing, and post-Go Live phases is also a critical part of this function.

Project Management and Documentation

The Senior CX Commerce Functional Consultant will contribute to managing SAP projects or programs within defined time, quality, and cost constraints to deliver solutions that meet business needs. This includes documenting all aspects of the assigned SAP module implementation, such as business blueprint designs, application configurations, functional specifications, test plans, and business process procedures.

Support and Incident Resolution

This role provides support for existing productive SAP module implementations and resolves incidents based on pre-defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). It is also responsible for identifying and ensuring that any change requests follow the established Request for Change processes, rather than being handled as incidents.

Role Accountability and Leadership

Accountabilities include providing leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates, as well as delegating tasks effectively to ensure efficient workflow and maintain team morale. The role requires performing planned activities to meet operational and development targets, utilizing resources efficiently, and providing periodic reports on task execution and deviations. Problem-solving is essential, with the ability to escalate complex operational issues when necessary. Ensuring quality requirements are met, coordinating well-defined systems and procedures, and seeking automation opportunities are also key responsibilities. Compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards is mandatory.
