The Role of Senior Cyber Solution Architect Telco

This full-time position for a Senior Cyber Solution Architect Telco is based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role involves joining a cybersecurity practice with over 6,000 consultants and more than 30 years of expertise across IT, Embedded, Industrial, and Telecom environments. The architect will contribute to large-scale programs in Telecom security, focusing on connected infrastructure such as 5G core networks, Mission Critical Communications, Non-Terrestrial Networks, and Industrial IoT.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end security architectures for Cloud and Telecom environments, covering domains including SIM/eSIM, RAN, Transport, EPC and 5G Core, IMS, MCx, OSS, and BSS.
Develop and implement security frameworks aligned with international standards such as 3GPP, GSMA, ETSI, NIST, and ISO 27001, applying best practices including Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, and Adaptive Security architectures.
Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling across complex Telecom environments, providing technical guidance to mitigate cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
Assess, recommend, and validate security technologies, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, HSM, PAM, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR solutions, against defined security requirements.
Create and maintain high-quality security architecture documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, guidelines, and training materials.
Lead collaboration with solution architects and integration teams to ensure secure deployments.
Engage directly with customers and senior executives during workshops and presentations, acting as a technical authority on Telecom cybersecurity matters.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
Demonstrated expertise in designing security architectures for Cloud and Telecom environments.
Proficiency in security frameworks and standards such as 3GPP, GSMA, ETSI, NIST, and ISO 27001.
Experience with security technologies including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, HSM, PAM, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR solutions.
