The Role

Foodics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist / Senior ML Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading the design, development, and deployment of Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI) models. These models will support core Foodics products, including pricing, personalization, and fraud detection. The role requires collaboration with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Platform teams to deliver production-grade models with tangible impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end ML model lifecycle, from problem framing and data exploration to training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design and develop scalable solutions utilizing classical ML and GenAI techniques.
• Implement MLOps best practices, including versioning, reproducibility, monitoring, and CI/CD for models.
• Collaborate with various squads and platform teams to ensure reusability and adherence to established standards.
• Mentor junior ML engineers and contribute to the internal ML knowledge base.
• Integrate models with APIs and backend services as required.
• Adhere to a "you build it, you run it" approach, taking ownership of the full lifecycle of ML models from development through monitoring and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
