Senior Design Engineer

About the Role

Hill International (KSA) is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for regional infrastructure water projects in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves leveraging technical experience and knowledge to manage the design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants, pumping stations, and desalination plants, as executed by the client's design consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering and managing design in accordance with program requirements and client specifications.
• Assist in managing the team of design engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate and monitor the development of design consultant activities, providing progress reports to Design Project Management and highlighting performance against plan.
• Plan and organize the review of design consultant deliverables, collaborating with subject matter experts and design review teams.
• Perform analysis on design plans and review findings for technical and business reports.
• Establish green initiatives within design processes and specify appropriate analytical methods to support decision-making.
• Provide quality assessment reports to Project Management and the client.
• Assist the Contracts Department and Construction teams with pre-construction and post-contract award activities.
• Ensure continuous compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years of post-graduation experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of design experience specifically related to water and wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater master plans.
• Ability to review and approve designs related to water and wastewater works.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
