Qiddiya Investment Company is dedicated to creating world-class entertainment and leisure destinations in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Senior Director - Design to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is pivotal in shaping the design philosophy and overseeing the design direction for all development projects, ensuring they are innovative and aligned with the company’s vision of excellence.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Senior Director - Design will provide strategic leadership across all design initiatives. This position is responsible for guiding projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that all design solutions meet high standards of quality, innovation, and strategic alignment with Qiddiya's overarching goals. The role involves leading a diverse team and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design strategies that align with Qiddiya's overarching goals and vision.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of designers and architects, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Oversee the design development processes from initial concept through to project completion.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions are practical, innovative, and reflect community engagement.
• Review and approve design proposals, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay abreast of global design trends and best practices, integrating these insights into project initiatives.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring deliverables are met within expected parameters.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, presenting design concepts and incorporating their feedback into the design process.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in design leadership roles.
• Experience preferably within the real estate or entertainment sectors.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering high-impact design projects on time and within budget.
