About Parsons and the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Facade Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to leading complex façade projects and delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically robust solutions. The role requires in-depth expertise in various façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Senior Facade Specialist will provide technical leadership and oversight for all façade engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications. This involves leading the development of façade solutions that consider aesthetics, energy efficiency, and durability, while managing project deliverables and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for all façade engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Lead the development of innovative façade solutions, considering factors such as aesthetics, energy efficiency, and durability.
• Oversee the design, review, and approval of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage the façade engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of façade systems.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the façade engineering team.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of façade design standards, codes, and regulations, including AISC, AISI, and local codes.
• Experience with structural analysis software and other advanced engineering tools.
