Egis is seeking a Facade Architect (Site Supervision) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for an experienced professional with 5-10 years of experience in facade systems.

Role Overview

The Facade Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, and on-site supervision of facade systems for both commercial and residential projects. The primary objective is to ensure that all facade installations meet design specifications, adhere to building codes, and maintain high-quality standards, while also managing project timelines and budgets effectively. This role demands strong technical expertise, decisive leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in managing complex facade projects from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and Saudi Building Code standards.
• Supervise on-site facade installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to identify and resolve construction issues promptly.
• Analyze structural and architectural requirements to develop innovative and cost-effective facade solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to coordinate facade work with other building systems.
• Manage facade-related budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure project delivery on schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and training to on-site teams regarding facade installation procedures and safety protocols.
• Document project progress through reports, photographs, and performance metrics.
• Ensure all facade work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Communicate project updates and technical recommendations to project stakeholders and management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in facade architecture, specifically with site supervision responsibilities.
• Demonstrated strong technical expertise in facade design, engineering, and installation.
• Proven ability to exercise decisive leadership in project management.
• Meticulous attention to detail in managing complex facade projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Codes and relevant quality standards.
