About the Role of Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to enhancing the organization's analytics capabilities and fostering data-driven decision-making across all departments. The Senior Manager will lead a talented team of data scientists and analysts, guiding their efforts to deliver impactful analytical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Purpose and Strategic Impact

The primary purpose of this position is to leverage advanced analytical techniques to uncover critical insights that inform strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to identify opportunities for advanced analytics, develop predictive models, and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and ensuring data is at the forefront of decision-making processes within Qiddiya.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and planning activities for the advanced analytics team.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to propose data and AI use cases, secure required funding, and plan resources and budget for implementation.
• Manage the demand and delivery of use cases, including planning realistic timelines, prioritizing items in the pipeline and backlog, and ensuring transparency with stakeholders. Manage use case delivery with different vendors.
• Work in close collaboration with data engineering, architecture, and BI service teams to ensure data availability.
• Partner with the data strategy and governance team to define and refresh the overall data and analytics strategy.
• Ensure that all advanced analytics projects align with organizational goals.
• Ensure effective utilization of data analytics platforms and visualization tools to deliver insights to stakeholders.
• Collect and report progress metrics, obstacles, and delays on a regular basis.
• Research and implement cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence for efficient data analysis.
• Identify and apply best practices in analytical modeling to use case development that supports business objectives.
• Advise product teams on new products, features, or updates through data-based recommendations, staying current with latest trends.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of quantitative analysis, predictive and prescriptive models, and mastery of advanced analytic tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, with a strong focus on leadership roles.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying predictive models and leveraging big data analytics.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Experience with programming languages relevant to data analysis, including Python, R, or SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
