Role Overview

Parsons is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing and managing a Master Schedule that integrates multiple project packages, considering their interdependencies. The primary objective is to assess the impact of changes across various projects, manage client expectations effectively, and ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a Master Schedule that integrates multiple project packages, accounting for interdependencies to assess the impact of changes across projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls systems and tools, ensuring compliance and resolving planning issues as they arise.
• Evaluate and verify planning and scheduling information, identify potential delays, and suggest mitigation measures.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations, addressing program issues to ensure timely project completion.
• Assess claims, including Extension of Time and Disruption, utilizing leading delay analysis methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to planning engineers, ensuring effective project controls processes and compliance.
• Identify potential risks and conflicts, document them in the Project Risk Register, and conduct "what-if" analyses to assess the time impacts of changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning engineering roles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex project schedules.
• Proficiency in project controls systems and tools.
• Experience with delay analysis methodologies and claims assessment.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
