The Project Context

The successful candidate will join a dedicated Mace team responsible for delivering an ultra-luxury residential and hospitality project. This initiative features significant civils and infrastructure scope, involving collaboration with renowned architects and global consultants. The project encompasses extensive infrastructure, landscape, and built assets, with Mace serving as a hands-on Project Management Consultant holding FIDIC Engineer responsibility for its rapid execution.

Role Summary

The Senior Project Controls Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of PMO and project controls across assigned commissions. This role requires providing expert guidance on key project management domains and ensuring operational alignment with Mace's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PMO and project controls delivery for assigned commissions.
• Provide expert guidance on cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
• Build strong client relationships and drive performance reporting.
• Align delivery with the Mace control centre, mentor teams, and promote sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Progression towards chartership with a recognised professional body and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Proven leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, demonstrating measurable outcomes and embedding best practices.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
• Effective communication skills with analytical capability, including the ability to engage, influence, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.

Immigration and Project Specific Requirements

Candidates must meet the necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, relevant work experience on high-valued projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business is required for both immigration and client approval processes.
