Senior Projects Manager

About the Role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of fast-track fit-out projects from inception to completion. The primary objective is to deliver financially viable projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, meeting client requirements across various sectors including Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, and Palaces.

The company specializes in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings. Due to expansion in the Saudi Arabian market, Havelock One Interiors is seeking experienced leaders to contribute to its growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Work towards the creation and execution of business development strategies aligned with company goals.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, providing feedback on market and creative trends.
• Supervise the end-to-end tendering process.
• Identify stakeholders and plan communications for projects.
• Develop project management plans and schedules, ensuring activities are clearly defined for all stakeholders.
• Plan procurement in line with project schedules.
• Identify risks and plan risk management and responses.
• Specify project objectives and plans, including scope delineation, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting subcontractors.
• Interface with the project team to share best practices and ensure effective resource utilization (labor, materials, equipment).
• Implement various operations through coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction.
• Maintain accurate records as construction progresses.
• Oversee construction sites and manage vendors and trades.
• Analyze and share regular updates on site operations with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication with clients.
• Direct and manage project execution, ensuring all works are monitored, coordinated, and controlled.
• Acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
• Conduct and administer procurement in line with project schedules.
• Distribute project information to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage all local municipality and government approvals required for project operation and handover.
• Verify and control changes in scope and costs.
• Control project invoicing and final accounting.
• Monitor and control project risks.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a versatile Senior Projects Manager with over 10 years of experience in fit-out projects. The role requires flexibility and adaptability, as projects are located across Saudi Arabia, not solely in Riyadh. Candidates should possess strong project management skills and personal attributes suitable for leading complex projects in a dynamic environment.
