King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Senior Psychologist to join its professional team. This full-time position involves providing essential psychological services within a leading healthcare environment, contributing to comprehensive patient care.

Role Summary: Senior Psychologist

The Senior Psychologist is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and applying various psychological therapies and procedures to support patients in overcoming a range of challenges. This role specifically includes delivering behavior therapy services grounded in the principles of applied behavior analysis, aiming to facilitate patients in achieving their treatment goals and desired lifestyle changes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct a variety of psychological tests, including psychometric tests, one-on-one interviews, and direct behavioral observations.
• Provide assessment and recommendations for appropriate treatments.
• Deliver effective psychotherapy for KKESH's patients and employees.
• Provide clinical care to inpatients on the ward and ensure timely and appropriate follow-up.
• Collaborate with patients to facilitate behavioral changes through diverse psychological therapies.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, alongside clinical doctors, nurses, and social workers, to address patient mental health issues.
• Offer referral services to external therapists, clinics, and treatment facilities when necessary.
• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology and behavioral interventions, particularly for children with various developmental and psychological disorders.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates for the Senior Psychologist position must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license.

Required Experience

A minimum of Two (2) years’ experience as a Psychologist is required for this role. Experience gained within a healthcare facility or hospital setting is highly desirable.

Professional Conduct and Team Collaboration

The Senior Psychologist is expected to perform all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner, contributing positively to the hospital's patient care environment. This role involves close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient support. The ability to adapt and perform other related duties as required or assigned is also essential.
