Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to assist project teams in configuring business processes within assigned SAP ERP modules, ensuring efficiency, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to support departmental operational plans and developments by efficiently configuring business processes within assigned SAP ERP modules. The consultant will ensure that configurations meet defined policies, procedures, and quality standards, contributing to wider organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on SAP's best practices for implementing respective SAP module business processes.
• Lead workshops to gather business requirements, promote the adoption of standard SAP processes, and identify and manage gaps while minimizing development effort.
• Design, configure, test, and implement assigned SAP module business processes, ensuring adherence to SAP standards and minimizing customization.
• Define and execute unit test, integration test, and regression test scripts to validate key end-to-end business scenarios.
• Troubleshoot complex functional issues and bugs identified during implementation, testing, and post-Go Live phases.
• Contribute to IT department level improvements by delivering on initiatives that enhance governance and standardization of processes, including Business Process & Procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in SAP SD functional consulting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in HR processes.
• Proven ability to foster innovation and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a project team environment, contributing to IT department improvements and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
